Come celebrate the season of Lent in an historic and sacred place.

Lent is the 40-day season of fasting, prayer, and penitence in the Episcopal Church, beginning on Ash Wednesday and leading to Easter, excluding Sundays.
Named from an Old English word for “spring” (lengthening days), it echoes Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness and invites self-examination, repentance, almsgiving, and spiritual disciplines to prepare for the Paschal feast. With purple vestments symbolizing royalty and penance, Lent fosters a reflective journey toward Easter joy.
